PEOPLE WE ADMIRE: The researchers at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, who released this report – Turning the Tide: Inspiring Concern for Others and the Common Good Through College Admissions. The Washington Post wrote an article about it here. The report recommends changing college admissions standards to reward students who reduce course loads and extracurriculars, contribute to their families and communities, make ACTs and SATs optional, and generally aim to develop kindness and character and not just achieve great test scores. All we can say is: BRAVO!!!
